Commissions

Every time someone reaches out about a commission, I feel honoured. That someone would trust me with something so meaningful never gets old.

A commission usually marks something. An engagement, an anniversary, a milestone, stones inherited from someone loved. The meaning comes first. The form follows.

How it works

It starts with a conversation. Tell me about the person, the moment, or the stones you'd like to give a new life. From there, a $250 design fee covers the design stage: sketches, stone options, and a detailed quote. If we go ahead, the fee comes off the price of your piece.

I take on a small number of commissions at a time, so each piece gets the attention it deserves. Once the design feels right, a 50% deposit begins production, and the balance is due when your piece is ready. Most commissions take six to eight weeks from confirmation (each piece is cast, set and finished by hand).

Begin with a conversation

If you have something in mind, or even just a feeling you can't quite articulate yet, that's enough to start.
