A custom commission at ELM begins with a conversation. Sometimes that's a questionnaire, sometimes a phone call. In every case, understanding the story behind the piece comes before anything else. The meaning comes first. The form follows.

From there I'll put together a design direction and quote for you to consider. Once you're happy, a 50% deposit begins production. Each piece is made by hand in Sydney and typically takes six to eight weeks from confirmation.
