Behind ELM is Lizzie McFadyen, a designer and jeweller with a background in graphic design. Her creative journey led her from visual communication to intensive training in Rome, where she studied traditional gold smithing and stone setting.

Inspired by the textures, tones, and quiet rhythms of nature, ELM’s designs balance refinement with warmth. Jewellery that feels as meaningful to wear every day as it does on life’s most significant occasions.

At its heart, ELM is a celebration of presence, stillness, and beauty. Each piece is crafted with care, made to last, and created to hold stories that can be passed on for generations.

Each piece is thoughtfully and responsibly designed and handcrafted to order in Sydney.

We start off with a chat in person or virtually, where we get to know you and your vision. We'll talk about what inspires you, the story behind the piece, your style, budget, and any ideas you have.

Your ring is then lovingly handcrafted using 
time-honoured techniques and sustainable materials. Quality, beauty, and intention are at the heart of every detail.

This stage typically takes 6–8 weeks, 
but we’ll keep you updated along the way.
